Hi Austin,

I am not entirely sure yet, it hasn't been to a service department yet (I am
using my trusty RTSII in the interim). However the problem is not shutter
based, it is related to the mechanical aperture feed-back mechanism. I was
out shooting whilst it failed, it suffered no undue bumps or other abuse and
although it has a relatively early serial number it is generally in very good
condition. Once I find a suitable technician (quite difficult here, the importers
are hopeless) I will let you know what the problem was. I did accidentally
drop one of my RTSIIs on its prism from about 2 feet at about the same time
(not a good week), it badly dented the prism cover and made it difficult to fit a
flash however all other mechanical and electronic functions remained
faultless.

Cheers,
