Why is this a problem?  A problem perhaps for some feeble bidders.  Sniping 
takes the emotion out of it...you don't get a second chance to be 'upset' 
by someone outbidding you.  One should bid what they are willing to pay for 
the item, period.  That is the solution to sniping.  Just because you 
snipe, doesn't mean you will win.
