The Voigtländer meter works best IMO for people who like to meter, set camera accordingly, then shoot without further metering until/unless the light changes drastically. By the time I'm ready to bring the camera up to my eye I've already used the meter and set shutter and aperture. (Actually I've been doing lots of waist-level shooting with my 21mm and the Voigt 15mm, for which the VC meter comes in very handy.) I'll then make changes on the fly, if necessary, according to my own judgment. Works pretty well! - -Dave-
