How many M3's that are beat up have seen professional use? PLenty.... and the risk that the VF is not clear, or that there is a major problem going to happen to a 5000 roll camera is pretty great..... I realize that this started with a discussion of a M6 .85..... about the same as a M3 in VF parlance..... but the M3 are WAY overpriced. Get the M6, have a free meter ( or don;t put batteries in it and make believe it does not exist) and enjoy the best Leica ever... one that is reliable. Frank Filippone red735i@earthlink.net
