This is common English usage. Emanuel is referring to more than two people
including himself so the use of "we" is correct. For example:

My wife and I disagree on whether to...... I could then say:

"Well hunny bunny, lambkins, light of my life, I guess we will have to
disagree on that."

The "we" refers to the group of my wife and me, and, as the speaker is in
the group, "we" is correct usage.
