Subject: [Leica] Pushing Plus-X to 400...accidentally.

Lug'ers

I goofed yesterday. I shot 33 or so exposures on a roll that I though was
Tri-X, but when I pulled it out, it was Plus-X.

Damn !

Question is - what's the best way to recover ? It's not a full 2 stop push.

I looked up the tech data sheet for Plus-X and a full two stop push (EI500)
using XTOL (full strength) is 8 minutes at 68 C. (And I just happen to have
made a fresh batch of XTOL yesterday.)

I'm going to assume I shot the first 3 frames at 125, so I'll sacrifice the
these, no problem.

But I would like to salvage the rest of the roll the best I can.

Suggestions ?

Thanks - and if you could mail me direct, that would be best. I'm a digest
subscriber (assuming someone answers), I won't get any posted answers until
tomorrow, and I'd like to process this roll later today or this evening.

Thanks

William
