Frueh isn't so bad, though busy at times. It is close to the museum 
and concert hall, and worthwhile for a bite and drink if you can get 
served. 

A colleague of mine told a Koelner story about a fellow who ordered 
an Alt in Cologne, and waited, asked the waiter who put him off, 
then finally, the waiter brought him the beer, a Koelsh - "is this old 
enough for you?".
