Hi Everyone,
My name is Sean...I am a photographer living in London. You can see some of
my photos on my website, and if you're really border, you can even see a
picture of me with one of my M6's! I have been a lurker on and off over the
past three years, and now I have a question.

I saw a screw mount camera the other day marked STAPO-HANNOVER. I think it
was a IIIC. I tend to ignore things like this when I see them, because I
use M cameras, but I am looking for a screw mount camera to play around with
for some ideas I have, so I looked at this, and there are german army
markings. So the question is, are there any documented cameras marked like
this for the gestapo, and if there are, how can I tell if this one is real.
The engraving is just above the vulcanite, underneath the viewfinder windows
on the camera, and on the barrel of the lens (a collapsible Summar.)

Any advice would be appreciated.
Sean
