Subject: [Leica] air travel etc.

A wedding photographer I worked for taught me to visualize that my equipment was
actually the $ I'd paid for it. Would you put $10K in cash in a suitcase and shipped
it as luggage? Would you leave such an amount on a restaurant table, under your train
seat etc.? NEVER! Carry your Leicas with you on board.
Ship your tripods, flash equipment etc. - very little emotional attachment there.
Otherwise, just cross your fingers and hope the big Oskar in the sky is watching
over his misbegotten children.
