Colen refers to, the one that suggested disguising your expensive Haliburtons by putting them inside cheap suitcases. That presupposes you own a lot of Haliburtons. If you don't, you may spend more on Haliburtons than airfare. For a one-time trip, some of these suggestions may be of use. Put your most expensive and fragile items in a bag or case that you can carry on with you. Don't necessarily think camera bag. A backpack will let you carry more weight comfortably than a coventional bag and not attract much attention. One of the cameras may even go over your shoulder, but keep it under your jacket in the airport. Less fragile equipment can be wrapped in bubble wrap and sent in your conventional hard case luggage. The large Pelican Camera Cases on wheels will pass off as conventional luggage and give you a big equipment case or suitcase for future use. Forget about putting any clothes or toiletries in your suitcase until you've packed all your gear. When you are shipping your clothes home, inquire about shipping services that will also handle any gear that is still left unpacked, insure it and get it through customs. I think you probably know this already, but I didn't want to go down in history as the man who suggested you spend the family fortune on Haliburtons. All the best, Bill Pierce
