I think this issue plays both ways. Without intending any partisan meaning I ask if there might not be more Palestinians shot dead if the world media was not filming to excess? When that little boy was killed in"crossfire" the emotional impact was burned into the world's consciousness. Many TV viewers have figured out that the Israelis muzzle loading long barrels on the M162 are shooting "rubber bullets". The others are shooting to kill. Like Vietnam, this conflict is being fought on the front pages and evening news as well as in the streets of the "Holy Land". Those kids with rocks against soldiers may be the best weapons the Palestinians have. Take away the press and what limits the power of the state? Bill Lawlor
