I put my gear through a > great amount of use and abuse. Any and all info would be extremely helpful. Buy based on the features you want. If you want to use flash, buy the TTL. Any Leica will last as well as any camera can, especially if you take it for regular scheduled maintenance as you would a car. If there is any flaw of Leica users, it is that we never challenge the camera. As I've always said, a camera is to be used up; the M6 says, in effect, "Go ahead...make my day." TRY to wear it out! That's when you'll discover how difficult that is. - --Mike
