Jim's comment reminds me of a near-fatal incident while serving in the US
Air Force in Charleston SC.
After an evening (alright, a night) on the town, I boarder a military bus to
return to base. The bus was full of marines. As soon as I boarded, a lone
airman jumped up and shouted: "allright you SOBs, you're all outnumbered
now".
Needless to say, I waited for the next bus.
