Well worth seeing if you're in New Orleans by November 19 is an exhibit at
Newcomb Art Gallery (on the Tulane University campus) entitled "Lost New
Orleans: Photographs by Theodore Lilienthal for Emperor Napoleon III."
Taken in 1867, these photographs were unearthed in Switzerland in 1995.  For

Unfortunately, there's no catalog, at least yet.
