It made really nice pictures at f/2.8 or f/4. Then there = was one black from the early 70s with the flare problem. Then one with = a bad rangefinder coupling (off at infinity - and this lens was not = adjustable) - and that one went back to Russia. Then the last black = one, a real dream lens. Shortly afterward, I obtained an 85 Nikkor, = which was the same idea as the Jupiter-9, but much better-made and = sharper in the corners. As far as I can tell, all of my Jupiters came = from the circle-triagle-c factor. For the sheer amount of trouble in = finding another one that's good... but the heady days of cheap = Jupiter-9s are all but over. The black ones are now over $150, and the = chrome not much less. Should have bought a bunch in Prague last year!
