Regards, Horst Schmidt >> Quite true. I suspect, as Marc says, that the III was given additional clearance to accomodate future taller bodies, such as the TTL and, perhaps more immediately, the M5. The II mounts like a bayonet lens, which means that the 90 degree finder must be removed. The III uses a kind of internal breech lock with an external lever, which enables the entire assembly to be mounted as a unit. Very slick. Joe Sobel
