Richard,
As the correspondence last week noted, the LTM 'derivative' was produced
previously, and sold only in Japan where, I'm told, it has already sold
out. There is one aspherical surface, inside the the element closest to the
film plane (the extreme rear surface appears to be flat) though
illustrations indicate that most (though not all) exposed interior surfaces
are multicoated.

Those who followed the recent discussion on the GR21 may like to know that
this week's Amateur Photographer has a short description. It reports that
the 21mm lens has 9 elements including asphericals. No test shots though.
And no news of an LTM derivative.

Regards.
