I do find that the lens intrusion is somewhat more noticeable, but then, I once had a Summarex on a IIIg. Now _there's_ finder intrusion! I didn't like the VIDOM unless absolutely necessary, so I used the built-in 90 frame. Anyways, it doesn't bother me a lot. W.r.t the both eyes open thing, I can understand that, but I tend to use only one eye. My grandfather had one of those opaque finders mentioned earlier on the list (I thought it was a Braun finder, as he used it with his Paxettes) and I liked using that, but I rarely made it a practice to use both eyes with 35mm. It didn't really work with anything except the M3, and I never had one of those. 4x5 with binocular reflex viewers yes, but not 35. * Henning J.
