A different kind of street photo from those I have done before. I never spoke to the woman, so the mystery remains for me. TMax 400. The second is of the interior of the only great building to have survived intact from ancient times. Janson in his History of Art said it is impossible in a photograph to capture both the sense of vast space and spiritual awe one feels there. Do you think this picture does it (a bold question!)? I was aware of the woman on the left looking up, and took the picture when the man stepped into the light. The picture seems very spiritual to me. I printed it 20 inches high. TMax 400. These pictures are, for me, examples of the usefulness of the 50 Summicron and the 21 Elmarit for traveling. Most of my pictures have a strong geometric element. What do you think of them? Jesse
