 It certainly is a true story.  While there is some poetic license taken (and
 my memory is not always the best), all the events took place.  Most of the
 license is taken in the dialogue (which I still cannot write to save my
 life).  But everything happened (and a few other things not included too!)
 and pretty much in the order it occurs in the text.
