Subject: RE: [Leica] Which Leica M6 should I buy?

Agreed, Dennis--I experience the same effect, and often, on my .72x M6 TTL.
The only "cure" I found was putting black tape over the framelines window
(this is the culprit)--but then the framelines disappear. So the compromise
solution is to have the black tape extend over the framelines window at an
angle, but not cover it up--like a little shade or awning. That does the
trick (it also, however decreases the brightness of the rangefinder
patch--but better that than a useless flared-out patch).
