My serial number is 2472064. Unfortunately Leica serial numbers seem to not
be particularly sequential. If you go the Stephen Gandy's site on M6HM
serial numbers you will see what I mean:

 It is, however, easy to check the battery draw yourself. Just remove the
battery cover and complete the circuit with a good quality ammeter. Here is
