My 2.5 year old enjoys the videos as well. We took him to the movie last
night, his first, and he really enjoyed the candy, etc. It is difficult to
describe, in any way you find believable, how poor the quality of the Island
of Sodor footage was. See it and weep. The plot was almost completely
unfathomable and only the Engines and Alex Baldwin seemed to get into the
spirit of the thing. The other actors seemed to have felt they were on one
of those three hour long "women yearnin" films that I have learned to avoid.
