Well, Rick, I suppose that if I was always taking photos of daisies and
landscapes, with my M6 on a tripod, and had the time and inclination to be
anal retentive and make sure that the center of my pupil was focused on a 90
deegreen line through the center of the vf, it wouldn't be a problem. But
when I'm moving around taking photos, and dealing with bright light
somewhere in the photo, it's a real pain in the butt to have to keep moving
my eye to get rid of the flare...No such problem with my Nikon F100 - or F -
No such problem with the Contax G 1 I owned, or with Leica M2s or M3s I
owned in the past. Face it - it's an anoying flaw in a wonderful camera.
Solms doesn't benefit, nor do Leica owners, from having people rationalize
the camera's flaws, rather than acknowledging them and calling for their
correction...
