What is this all about? I have owned SL's,SL2's, R3's, R4's, R6's and an R7 
over the years since 1968. I have never had a failure with any of them. The 
same is true of a bunch of Pentaxes. I did buy an R4 that was broken when I 
bought it (mirror locked up.
