Dear All.......
I want to thank one and all who have sent your warmest congrats.......
please don't be offended if I do not thank U individually...... there were
indeed many, many of U ........

Interestingly, there were at least a handful of U who celebrated your own
additions by buying some Leica gear...... excuse or reason..... the outcome
was same.... more gear.......I guess the ocassion was momentous enough to
warrant a trip to the camera boutique..... whilst the mother is too
exhausted to
put up resistance..........

I had the same thot my self....... and I thot I was abnormal.....!!!!

My Gitzo tripod is now already in the cabinet in the hospital where my
wife is right now.... last nite I took some pics in the hospital.....
KDKT400CN with the R7 + 28/2.8 + 100/2.8.......... wished I had something
faster...... I also took a few with the OM4Ti with 24/2.8 +28/2.8.....
should have brought along the 16/3.5 FE.......

My relatives were all there shocked and puzzled and kindly reminded me that
there was no flash from my camera......!!!

Timothy is very cute...... one of the benefits of being parents is that U
can track the physical changes from birth to days to months .........

When
he came out yesterday, he was all very dark...... his facial features were
not so cute
then..... he had patches over both eyes..... we were worried they were
birthmarks.... but yesterday a few hours later , they were gone...... he is
now quite fair
too..... His nose doesn't look too big now...... seems a wee bit higher
too......

By the way, we just celebrated our National Day (the equivalent of your 4th
July) 2 days ago.....therefore , for convenience and expediency, Timothys
birthday will always be celebrated on this national holiday for the rest of
his life....
thats for sure........

I was in the birthing room coaching (as if......) my wife thru the
'ordeal'....... as for all previous 2 cases, eveything is fine......hey we
are men right..... we are tough, can take pain, we can take sh*t, ...U know
all those macho sh*t.......so I was there encouraging my wife ( had to
.... I was the responsible party)..... then all of Timothy came out......
blood and all..... and all smiles ...... minutes later..... something I
always dread ..... the pfrofessor of a gynae..... remarked,.... hey wow.....
look...... I got all of it out now...... hmmmmmm he says..... this is quite
big.... he was holding up for all to see.... this HUGE bloody thingy..... it
was th eplacenta, umbilical cord....... Blood all over his gloved
hands....the sac was still there..... and he says..... see this is where I
broke your sac....it was still like a bag.... white in colour , half
transparent deflated balloon........the equally huge palcenta was inside
it..... with the thick cord hanging out........

I almost fainted....... !!!!

Good material for 'Aliens' or 'The Thing" ....... now I know where those
monster creators got their ideas from... !

Peace
TMLee

The reskinned R7 and OM are also fine..... no probs whatsoever.... the nice
thing about it is that U smell real leather everytime U bring it up to your
eye.......
