I don't remember that part. I bought a Leica because it's a great _machine_, not because I can mount any particular sort of lens on the front of it. And I bought an old Leica lens because it was what I could afford at the time and I'd been told it was a pretty good lens. Showing off the Leica glass in a bad light? My pictures show _all_ lenses in a bad light (maybe badlight.com is still available :-)). But the shots posted are just as they came out of the lab*, good or bad. I've never once said or written that one lens is better or worse than the other; I just posted the pictures. If you and Leica want to sue me for libel, bring it on. Cheap Japanese stuff/all that cash? Well, make up your mind. As I said before, I got the Cosinas dirt cheap; less for the whole batch than for the _single cheapest_ new Leica lens, after the Leica rebate, no less. So I'm a Philistine; what do you care? How much cool old Leica glass? I don't want any more old lenses. Are we back to that "claiming love" crap again?
