Brian Stevens was also there that day and photographed in a similar style. I
think in these days of agitprop and media blitzes there really is a place
for the neutral observer, just making of it what they will, as opposed to
trying to find the picture that will make the front page. I was conscious
that day of both the surreality of it and the circus-like nature. I think
this kind of protest is going to grow and grow and it is going to be fought
on the TV screens and for the media... leaving it wide open to be recorded
in other ways.
