the current leica 21 and 24 are phsically and optically identical,one just
masked some. these are optically inferior to chrome and black chrome
original 21mm leitz.this was 8-eleement
in an all metal housing
and metal intergral foot. by opticallly inferior i mean the area the
original 21 shows with projected frame is considerably more what the
plastic shell current one shows. this is coated and bright but has a
horrible glued piece of plastic for a foot. the original like all the
brightline finders of the fifties-sixties has beautiful proportions and
esqusite
finish.
