I can't imagine working without the Leitz table top and ball
head. When Shutter speeds or lenses get long it goes on the
camera and the three legs go on my chest, getting everything
quite solid quite fast. When shutter speeds or lenses get even
longer the nearest tree, wall, car, what ever will soon have
everything rock solid - this goes for M, R and Blad. A couple
times I've had it on the ground with a view camera on it. I'd
call it my most valuable carry with.
