Rene - I have found a technician in the Toronto region, who can possibly do
such a repair, he was trained by Leica - give me a call at #905 826 8833 or
e-mail me at painfree@istar.ca and I will give you details - even though
your lens has gone to Leica, he will be able to tell you if he could have
worked on it for you, and it will help us to know what his capabilities
are - Hugh Thompson
