I think part of what Ted  might be thinking here is that it seems a shame when
you have one of those huge gorgeous round hunks of glass (like a big pancake)
like a Noctilux (oven baked) or Summilux even or 21 or 24 that you hate to put a
flat boring thing in front of it. If it's an ultrawide you have to somehow avoid
vignetting. Even if it's not you've got all kinds of reflections bouncing around.
Don't seem right.
