[Leica] 280mm f2.8

I have had a 280 2.8 for several years, and have used it in Africa both with and without a 2x teleconverter ( standard not apo ) . The results were and are 
superb both ways. When you can fill the frame with a lion's face and count every hair, whisker, and fly, that's good enough for me. Hand held was possible but 
my Leica table top tripod with ball head resting on the roof of the Land Rover proved to work best and fast enough.
