Yes.

And I might add that by scanning 30 year old faded Ektachrome slides on my
Minolta Dimage Scan Speed  and punching them up in PhotoShop 5.5 is one way
of rescuing images that might have faded into nothingness.  My Kodachrome's
need no extra color balancing - they've held for 30+ years.
