It is possible to have the SL2 viewscreen installed in the SL, and it sounds like that's what you have.

You can get 1-cam lenses converted to 2-cam or 3-cam at any Leica repair facility.  Sherry Krauter also converts lenses, and I would expect that DAG can also convert them.

Don't bother with the 2-cam conversion, go directly to 3-cam so the lenses will be fully functional on any R-body as well as any Leicaflex body.
