Hasn't WalMart recently acquired one of the UK retail chains (Asda or something like that)? If so, then
you can look forward to $2 pens but also deserted town centres as the local retailers are slowly killed
off by the new behemoth on the outskirts of the town. Visit any small-to-medium sized town in the U.S.
South and you will know what I am talking about.
