Subject: RE: [Leica] M3 viewfinder coverage

It all depends how much you move your eye/pupil around the entrance of the
viewfinder.
If you sort out how much you need to (by comparing your needs/abilities
with a known 35mm field of view) then you could get by with it. If you wear
specs I wouldn't even try it.

Is the full frame view of an M3 viewfinder (outside the 50mm frame lines)
reasonably close to 35mm lens coverage? I don't have an M2/4/5/6 to
compare.

Thanks!
