On my train commute in and out of Boston this week I'm reading an excellent book by a fella named James Bradley called "Flags of Our Fathers." It's a biography of the six G.I.s who appeared in Joe Rosenthal's famous Mt. Suribachi flag-raising shot (one of whom was the author's father). I noted this morning that, according to the writer, Rosenthal took the photo with his "bulky and durable 35mm Speed Graphic." Turnabout's fair play, I say. I think Leica's entry into the larger format arena should be a small and disposable 4 x 5. Craig
