How do you use a linear Polarizer on a leica or any rangefinder, if you
can't not see the effect you want. I thought with the leica one, you can
switch between the viewfinder and the lens, which gives precisely the effect
desired but how to achieve the same thing using a linear which cost a lot
less?

I do wear a broad brimmed Tilley Hat and it does do that function!
