I have heard of that one too many years back, and people used to compare
and show off their bubbly lenses. Now people spend more time worrying about
every teeny weeny blemish on their lens coatings and elements rather than
making pictures.

The more time spent looking through lenses, the less time they have being
productive on the camera.
