I am visiting Rome soon and would like to know it there are dealers
with
significant stock of used Leica's. I am looking for 50's/60's vintage

bodies (M2, IIIg) in collectible condition and lenses of the same
period.
Also if anyone has a sense of the prices in Italy that would be
helpful.

Walter,

You may want to take in the Sunday Flea Market while you are in Rome.

There are Leica cameras and Leica copies to be had there.

NOTE: The flea market is very crowded and a High Risk area for pick
pockets. You will need to take special precautions if you go there.

On the other hand, the flea market is a great photo-op, I recommend
taking a flash.

If you have not been to Rome before, you may want to e-mail me
privately.

Regards,

Bill
