While the price scared away mass buyers at first I really believe the lens would become a decent seller once users realized that it could replace 3 of their fixed focal lenses AND be more convienient with equal or better quality. Even at 4000.00 it is cheaper than buying a 35,50,60 macro and a portrait lens.
