I figure you really do know but then maybe not and some on the list will not
know so what the heck. The K1000 is the direct descendant of the old Pentax
Spotmatic and was just recently discontinued. Manual focus mechanical camera
with a simple CDS match needle metering and a horizontal travelling cloth
shutter. Cheap and effective.
