Okay, let me get this straight:  if a chrome body has a few "bright marks"
or any other sign that it's actually been used to (gulp) take pictures, its
value deteriorates dramatically, right?  Yet if a black body gets beat
up....well...you get the point.

Why not remove the paint altogether and display the camera in polished
brass?  That, in my mind, would look beautiful, indeed.  And, f the brass
weren't lacquered, it would tarnish quickly and, thus, increase in value,
right?  Or...maybe tarnish would decrease the value?

I'm glad I like chrome.
