If this will help, I've shot professionally now for 30+ yr. Use 35, 120 sq., 120 ideal and 4x5. Been known to lug an 8x10 around in past. But ya use what ya need for the assignment at hand. Does this help? Please don't start throwing things, ok?

It doesn't mean SOME Professionals don't use only one format.  That's not what the statement said.  The fact is, MOST do use multiple formats.  It isn't a tought statement to believe, if you have any dealings with professional photographers, and was definitely NOT a 'blanket statement'...either you missed the word 'usually', or don't know what a 'blanket statement' is.
