One thing I *try* to do with each roll of 'chrome film is to photograph a
small notebook I carry in my bag, on the back of which is printed (large
block letters) my name, address, phone number. I do this with the first
frame on the roll, the theory being that if all other means of identifying a
stray roll fail, someone at the lab will take a look at the pictures and
figure out who it belongs to. So far, it's only a theory, as I have yet to
lose a roll in processing.
