The punishment for your "crime" is to remove all black tape from
your Leicas and to allow them to become nicked and worn!!!
On the subject of the 50mm Hexar lens.... At the PMA show in
February, I had the opportunity to shoot a few snaps with it on my M6. Of
five frames shot at a 1/60 @ f/4 w/ Tri-X, I found the lens was NOT as sharp
as either my 50 Summilix or Summicron.
Granted it is no where near as scientific as a POP PHOTO test, just
my observation.
