The outcome is great and I can obtain 1:1 magnification. (BTW, this is quite subjective because I have not compared this combo with the Elpro.) Personally, I think the 2x is quite a good deal. It doubles up the focal length of all my lenses and is very userfriendly if i want to travel light.
