According to Rogliatti there were SL Mots in production from '69. This is
what's written in the book's text, but in the table at the rear the first
batch of SL Mots weren't listed until '72. 1336991 - 1337110. There is no
listing for protoype SL Mots in the index table.

Anybody know how many "pre-production" SL
MOT's were made? Mine is from 1971 according
to the serial number lists, the year I was
born!!!. I get the feeling these arent as
rare as might be thought.

Anyway, Ive got 7 rolls of FP4 to soup, a
sqaure drive to grind from a piece of silver
steel (to screw the new one in , rather than
up) and a GSD waiting impatiently for a walk.
