Definitely something to try and see if I can use >the experience of working it out for myself when interpreting what the >M6 meter is saying to me. > >Thanks again. > >Simon simon, this is what i have been doing lately. i always carry a sm camera with me, as well as a light meter, and i'm always checking the light and learning to judge it for myself. as the weather in l.a. is pretty boring most of the time (big bright skies, few clouds), and i always use 400 film, it's not too difficult to do. i try the same thing with the m6 (for which i have faster lenses) indoors, judging the light in the house in the evening, for example. it's a good exercize. i'd like to get to the point where i really wouldn't need to meter at all, or only to double check on something in tricky light. guy
